Easter Event: Egg Hunt

Greetings, meta-friends!

Easter is here and it’s a time when friends and families come together to celebrate the arrival of spring, which symbolizes new beginnings. Eggs similarly represent new life and rebirth, so we’ve teamed up with Klay Dragons to give you the chance to hatch some eggs of your own in honour of the Easter holidays!

In light of the occasion, we’re excited to announce Sheepfarm in Meta-land’s official acquisition of the Klay Dragons project! This post will be followed up with a separate article with details on the project merger’s long-term goals and strategies, as well as how Klay Dragons NFT will be integrated into Sheepfarm. As part of the Sheepfarm x Klay Dragons M&A, we’re hosting a joint event for both communities that can benefit everyone who participates!

The event will feature a leaderboard and rewards, and you will be ranked based on how many pastures/dragons you own. In other words, the more you own, the more points you earn. As a result, this event will only be open to those who own Sheepfarm Pastures or Klay Dragons.

How It Works:

The number of Pastures/Klay Dragons you own will determine your ranking.

Sheepfarm Scoring
Small Pasture: 10 Pts / Medium Pasture: 15 Pts / Large Pasture: 20 Pts

Klay Dragons Scoring
Normal: 3 Pts / Rare: 10 Pts / Epic: 15 Pts / Legendary: 25 Pts

Users who have earned enough ownership points will be rewarded with Easter egg NFTs from Klay Dragons.

1st place
Epic (Ghost) Egg + Rainbow Event Egg

2nd — 100th place
Rainbow Event Egg

101th — 700th place
Random Normal Egg

Event Details:

• If a rank is tied, the winner will be selected according to who reached the position first.
• The leaderboard will be available on 20 April 2022, 12:00 p.m (UTC).
• A snapshot for rewards will be taken with a timestamp equal to 24 April 2022, 12:00 p.m (UTC).
• Rewards will be distributed before the end of April.

A total of 700 users will be able to receive an egg! The leaderboard will be refreshed and updated with the latest information every 10–20 mins, so check back frequently! If you sell your Pastures or Klay Dragons before the event ends, you will be unable to claim your rewards, so be sure to keep your NFTs until the event is over.

The ritual of egg hunting during the Easter season has been a long-standing tradition and it continues to be popular even in the virtual world, although it has taken on a somewhat different flair. Participate in our version of an egg hunt and see how far you can scale the leaderboard in order to win some incredible Klay Dragons Eggs! Happy Easter!
